I need an advice. English is my second language, I learned English a...s an adult and I still have problems with grammar and spelling. I'm a LMT and CNA and currently cursing my last class for the pre-nursing certificate. Although I passed all my pre-requisites with A's and B's, I had someone who will proofread all my papers. My question is if I can become a nurse even though I'm not 100% proficient in English?
I work with plenty of nurses who speak English as a second language ...and they're not always great at it. It's definitely possible, and you'll have plenty of opportunity to polish your skills along the way.
