Endorsement my New York LPN license into Claifornia

Nurses General Nursing

Published

I am recently paased to NCLEX PN in New York. It is very hard

to find a job.

I am thinking of even relocation to California from New York.

So, I am applying for hospital in California too. Then, it appears

on my head one question like this: "Endorsement means I have two

licenses in Both states of Claifornia and New York simultaneously??"

If endorse my License in California, work 1 year in a hospital of there

and then come back to New York, can I work with my original New York

license after being accepted in a hospital of New York without any paper

work??

It is also nearly impossible to find a job in most parts of California as a new grad LVN/LPN with no working experience as a nurse in this current economic climate. I know of people who obtained their LVN licenses in California in 2007 and still have not been able to land their first nursing job. Sometimes you have to do thorough research to find out that the grass in not always greener on the other coast.

I personally would not relocate to California without having a job lined up before you move.

To answer your original question, you can return to work in New York after having worked in California if you have kept both licenses active.
