Hello my friends,
I am a resident in Maryland, but my nursing license is from New York. I am in the process to endorse my license to work here in Maryland. I send an email requesting the endorsement package but it was returned saying that the process can be done online and didn't send me the package by regular mail. I have doubts about doing the process online instead of doing it directly in the MBON Office. I live far from Baltimore so I was thinking about doing it online. I need advice about the effectiveness of the process. Is there somebody who did it online? how fast the MBON processed the license? It was quick? Problems with this? Please help!! I am thinking about paying for the temporary license too.
I am desperate to work again!! I miss my work as a nurse!!!

I am in the process of endorsing license from New York to Maryland. I have a confusion about finger print, can it be done from New York or one should go to Maryland & do it. Please let me know about this. Thank you!!

Hello, any updates on the endorsement process via online application and livescan? Just submitted my application, and am hoping to be able to receive my perm license by late Jan.

I did mine online (had a VA license) no big issues, not all that painful.....I think it took a week or so before I had the license...I believe u can pay a few $$$ and they will give u a temporary license, but I was not in a rush.....

Just to clarify, it only took a week for you to get a Maryland nursing license? I heard horror stories of it taking 5+ months and was becoming very nervous.
If u are asking me, I think it only took a week or so, was not that long......But 6 months later I had my license suspended as there was a $$$ hiccup....still no clue what happened there...Received a postcard in the mail saying it had been suspended.....I simply drove to the office(only 45 min away from me) paid it in person and it activated 3 days later...was weird....But yes I have heard it can take some time....but was fairly smooth for me.....hope for the best, plan for the worst
