Hi guys,I just passed the Maryland NCLEX-RN in June and surprisingly received a mail from the Maryland board of nursing requesting me to take a refresher course in order to be issued an active license. The problem is that I am moving to TEXAS in a few months. And I need to endorse my license to Texas.Does anyone know if I can endorse an inactive RN Maryland license to Texas and if necessary take the refreshing courses in Texas? I just learned about the six months temporary license in Texas and here is my second question, is possible to have a job with that temporary license and take the refresher course at the same time?Sorry if I posted the topic in the wrong place.Worried:cry:

You likely need to reactivate your TX license to endorse.

Are you a recent graduate? Or have several years passed since you graduated, but you only recently passed NCLEX for the first time?If you are a recent graduate, then I question if there is a mistake by the BON in failing to issue your license. If you graduated a number of years ago and only recently passed NCLEX for the first time, then I understand the rationale for a refresher.
