Endorsement/CGFNS

Hello:

I am a RN in FL but I am trying to endorse my license to Ky and OH. I am a foreign trained nurse but I am a US citizen, do I still need the visa screen certificate that KY requires? And will OH accept my credential evaluations by other than CGFNS? I had previously done my course by course evaluation with Josef Silny. If OH does not accept other than CGFNS, will CGFNS accept the evaluation from Josef Silny rather than from the school where I went to?

Thanks

You really need to be asking the BON as only they are the ones to make the final decision. VSC is only required for immigration although some states will accept it instead of CES. Same goes for CGFNS you will have to ask them if they will accept eval done else where

I finally was able to talk to CGFNS, they will not accept credential eval from any other than the school I attended. Also I called the KY BON but no luck as to speak to anyone there. Let's see if they call me back. Thanks silverdragon

Josef Silny & Assoc. is an In ternational Education Consultants agency in Miami FL www.jsilny.com They do evaluation of credentials for foreign graduates. Since I lived in Miami, it was convenient and is not too expensive, the problem is some Universities do not approve them. And also many states do not accept anything else than CGFNS, so go to the point.
