Emory 2011 Waitlist???

I applied to the bsn program but I applied after the deadline so I havent heard anything back yet but I was trying to see if anyone has been notified to be on the waitlist?

I'm still waiting, too... I actually applied before the deadline but only found out afterwards that my transcript came in late, so I've been waiting since January! Have you heard anything yet? They originally told me I'd have an answer at the end of March but every week since then they've either told me "by the end of the week" or "within 2 weeks". I could die!

I was told that the deadline for people to make their deposit is may 1st...so whoever doesnt make their deposit gets their seat opened up to someone else and at that point then they will evaluate people who turned their stuff in late for those open spots.

I got waitlisted! Finally heard today. :D I'm thrilled that I'm still in the running, but... now, more waiting!:anbd:

Through OPUS. I check it multiple times daily like a maniac!

Well coincidentally, I emailed them earlier today and they said that their deadline for decisions is Weds. I don't know if that means all decisions will be posted on OPUS by Weds, but at least all decisions will be posted VERY soon now. I'm with you... it is insanely stressful!

I guess we are getting told 2 different things because I emailed one of the admissions advisors and this was her reply to my email:

Dear Kellie,

The wait list will be looked at in the next few weeks. The deposit deadline was on May 1st, yesterday, so we are just now looking at final totals for our Nursing programs. All applicants will be notified if an offer of admission is possible or not.

Wow... I wonder what that means? I'm assuming that they're finishing up decisions on applications that were submitted after the priority deadline by Weds. Then, those on the wait list will be granted admission as spots become available after that? I'm hoping anyway...

I have no clue whats going on with all of the inconsistancies...but If I didnt get in...they can just let me know and I can move on...all of this waiting is making me crazy....
