Emory University's Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing CRNA 2024

Published

Hey everyone!
just wanted to start a post about Emory CRNA program for 2024 start and get chatting with potential new students about applying and interview process!!

Hello everyone!
Good luck to everyone who has applied. I was wondering if anyone who has interviewed with Emory has any insight on what type of interview it is and what to expect? Is it more clinical or personal experience or both? Anything which could help?

Emory is all clinical. They don't want to get to know you personally. They want to get to know you academically.  Their questions stem from what you have on your resume. If you have a ccrn book, study that as well. Good luck on your interview.

Anyone who applied for the September 1st deadline hear anything yet?

It was all clinical. When they asked me at the end of my interview if I had anything else I'd like to share, that's when I took the chance to state why I want to be a CRNA. I must say, compared to other schools I interviewed with, it was the least intimidating and their questioning wasn't as in-depth as I expected. But always be over-prepared. Good luck!

Hello Nurses,

So have anyone heard anything from Emory who applied for the 2nd deadline 9/1?

I haven't heard anything yet.

I reached out to the Emory they said they would be interviewing in October/November once all interviews are completed then they will put out a decision release date.

Did they say anything about when we should hear about interview invites? October is next month.

Looking at last year it seems like it was early to mid-October when they heard something. So still keep your fingers crossed.
