Members are discussing receiving interview invitations for a CRNA program at Emory, sharing updates on their application status, declining invitations due to acceptance elsewhere, creating a Facebook group for the accepted cohort, and inquiring about the number of spots filled and acceptance decisions. Some members are also sharing their interview experiences and timelines for decisions.
Hi everyone! Starting a forum for fellow applicants to discuss our journey!
-They are only accepting 20 students for the 2025 cohort/Class of 2028.
-I thought we wouldn't know until around Labor Day as well so I'm curious to how many they have accepted so far. They still have 2 more days of interviews for the June 1st deadline. I have heard they normally only take about 7-10 people for the first deadline and then proceed with the second round of interviews for the second application deadline.
-NOTE: I wish everyone well, but please remember this a competitive game UNTIL you are actually accepted into a program. So anyone who has interviewed for the same cohort will not be willing to provide "insight". I say reach out to students within these programs, talk to current CRNAs, and do mock interviews if you can. Most importantly just know everything you can about the specialty you work in. Good luck and don't be discouraged!!
