I've asked a few questions about Emory's Program before too, but wasn't able hear from anyone who went there. Hopefully, you will have some better luck than me. There were a few responses from people who know people who went there. The overall consensus was that people tend to enjoy the program. I know that's not saying much though. Just to let you know, I applied to their Midwifery program for 2008 and I just received an email requesting an interview for the Segue program (BSN-MSN). I literally sent my application the day it was due, January 15th. That's all I can see about Emory so far.
Anyway, good luck to you and your application process.
Hi! I applied to Emory's master's program but I'm doing the BSN/MSN segue option. I had an interview mid January but have not heard anything? I called the Admissions office and they acted likethe decision should be posted online on OPUS. So I checked OPUS and the decision is not up but i have a link that says Pay Admission Deposit which is what you do after you are in the program. I was very confused so I emailed Emory andthey said letters will not be mailed out until early-mid March. I am so anxious to know! Have you all heard anything?
Hi everyone! I applied to the BSN/MSN segue program and heard back last wednesday. Has anybody else heard? Now that I am not stressing about getting accepted I am stressing about how in the world I am going to afford to live over the next 3+ years...I applied to the Fuld Fellowship but that is even a long shot, and even with that I would still need money for living expenses. Any suggestions?

They told me to check the OPUS but after checking 100 times I called and they let me know that segue decisions are only sent by mail...however what they don't tell you is that if you did get accepted, while your decision will not be posted they post a link on OPUS to pay your deposit online-I noticed that on 2/18 and got my letter 2/20
Hello fellow Emory students! I was notified via my OPUS account that I am accepted!!! I just have to wait until my "official" notice comes in the "snail mail" (even more "snail-like" since I'm all the way in Germany!) with my admission packet. Like you, hrbell, I'm no longer stressing the getting in part, now just the "how-will-I-pay-for-everything" part! lol! My husband seems convinced it will all work out fine...we'll see!
What specialty areas do you guys plan on focusing on in school? Are you all coming from outside of Atlanta?

Hi everyone! Since I didn't get much of a response (or any!) from my last post regarding Emory University, I thought I'd go a different route. Is anyone currently attending Emory U's MSN program, Women's Health option or another, that has any valuable advice or insight into their program? When did you receive the decision about your application? How are the classes, clinicals? I will have to arrange housing in a snap, how's the graduate housing? Are the faculty kind and helpful?
Any other information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to anyone who responds!
