Emergency Room Nursing in NYC

Hi All,

I am an RN with 15 months experience on a Neuro/Ortho and Pain & Palliative unit. I am interested in Emergency Room Nursing and am hoping to get advice regarding which hospitals have good orientation programs and just in general, any recommendations on where to go.

Any advice much apperciated! Thanks!

Are you looking for experience? My recommendation is any HHC Hospital...especially the ones that have the Trauma Center in it....in this case, money should not be in the equation....

Thanks for your reply. I am definitely looking for good experience but I have a lot of student loan debt so money is somewhat of a factor... I will look into HHC though, thanks!
