Well, lately I've been giving things a lot of thought. I've been out of school for a year now, so have been trying to figure out where I want to head in my career. Was thinking about going to paramedic school...used to be an EMT and I really enjoy EMS. The drawback with paramedic school was that it was going to push back my plans to go back for my MSN by a semester to a year.
So...I figure I won't do that, but I'll go ahead and get my TNCC, ENPC, and maybe PHTLS and some others. I'll also start studying for my CEN and CCRN. I plan on going back to school the fall of '03 for the FNP and/or maybe Acute Care NP program. I'll go part-time, and do it over 3-4 years. Wouldn't mind doing a little Legal Nurse Consulting on the side some day either. :)
Anyone else out there have a "master game plan?"
