Embarrassed to ask this!

I was in a code situation the other day and had to bag, honestly that’s rarely my task. I guess because we are in a hospital setting I was fuzzy for a minute on CPR before tubed. With many hands to help but before an advanced airway is placed, you still do 30 compressions and 2 breaths, correct? And then do continuous compressions and bagging once an airway is in? And take a patient from a vent and bag in a code?

Hey!!!! I'm not doing your homework for you ?. I assume you have an ACLS manuel at home to refer to, or just Google ACLS protocol.

And don't be embarrassed. Codes are stressful, especially when you are only occasionally involved.

Don't feel embarrassed to ask, even in the middle of a code.

It should be stressed during ACLS to ask for feedback...."am I bagging too fast.....is 1 mg of 1:10,000 epi correct, etc.
