I took my 17 y/o son to the Doctor last week to be seen for respiratory symptoms. Requested they check is Liver Enzymes due to his drug history. He has been clean & sober for 99 days . I received a call today from the doctor that his ALK Phos was 246, Glucose 115, Total Protein 8.9 and ALT HH (she said to high to do an actual count). Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Besides the obvious liver damage, he was not only sniffing, smoking and taking orally but also shooting up. He is scheduled for an Abd Ultrasound and repeat labs this Thursday. Would appreciate any input or advice.
