el camino nursing 3rd semester

hello anyone who is willing to read this message!:)

I am new to allnurses.com, but i came to this site asking for help from anyone who is willing to answer my questions.

I was wondering if anyone on this site graduated from the el camino nursing program and is able to give me any advice for 3rd semester. I know i shouldn't be stressing about 3rd semester yet because the 1st half of the 2nd semester is just ending ( now going into psych rotation)but i have heard from so many people that 3rd semester (both parts of the semester) are REALLY difficult. many people I know now aren't passing the first half in both med/surg and ob/peds. Any advice for me that does not want to fail 3rd semester. I already had my 1st fail last semester (2nd semester) in med surg and CANNOT fail anymore times....HELP PLEASE

i am in 3rd semester right now on med/surg. you can only pass by luck as the teacher rosales is out there to get you. she will trick you a lot!!!! she gives out reviews once in a while but they DO NOT help you. i hve never studied this hard for any class in my life and i am a good student. Only people in my class who are passing are the ones who are repeating this class and those too are barely passing on the borderline. she gives u a lot of stress but with a smile so you think she actually likes you but she doenst. she is not in your favor at all. and i m not just a bitter student venting out here. i am just trying to help you by saying....be prepapred. study like its your life on the line and then maybe u will pass.

problem is her tests. she makes her own tests and so its very hard to understand the wording or what the question is asking of you. and then the choices, she has a rationale of her own which doesnt make sense........
