Me too. 🙂 Fingers crossed. It would be my dream job come true. (Haha, my profile name gives me away.)

Just applied, just condensed a few files for my portfolio, did you guys submit one big file?

I submitted a cover letter, resume, 5 professional references, 2 letters of recommendation, I have been waiting on my instructor for the 3rd and they are lagging so I submitted with just two, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, CPI, and my CA Nursing license.

I have applied to so many programs so heres to another hail mary!

I combined the things that belonged together so I submitted like my BLS, ACLS, PALS, Fetal heart monitoring together, all 3 letters of recommendation together, then my resume, clinical rotations together. This is my second time applying to this program, I applied in the fall with only 2 letters of reference and I hadn't yet passed my NCLEX or gotten my ACLS, and I of course wasn't selected. I hope I have a better chance this time! Hopefully we all do.

Ooo, where did you do your fetal heart monitoring certs? I combined everything into one document: Cover letter, resume with QR code to capstone project/clinical and preceptorship hours etc, recc from preceptor, reccs from two instructors, BLS, ACLS, PALS, then transcripts.

I did that one through AWHONN, I became a student member through them and signed up for that course through there! I read that this program prefers BSN, so hopefully these extra certs help me a bit. Also the hiring manager posted this job posting on linkedin, I connected with her on linkedin and attached my linkedin profile to my application since they are active on that site.

Hey just thought I would let you know- I just learned that there is a little heart button up top on each thread that says "follow" and you can just push that instead of posting "following"! 🙂
