El Camino College Spring 2022

Hello I am starting this forum because I do not see any for ELCO. Wanted to have the option to have a space where we can ask any questions we have about anything involving the application process. I am going to be attending the Info session on the 9th and will also be applying on the 13th.

I just got an email saying I got accepted "Contingent admission as an ALTERNATE".

TBH I don't remember how many points I had. But my stats were:

Science GPA - 4.0

Overall GPA - 3.7

TEAS score - 75.3%

Work in healthcare with more than enough hours and had a letter written up from my current manager.

CONGRATS on being accepted! Thanks but I also am going to decline the offer of being an alternate. I have been accepted to LA College County of Nursing and Allied Health. So looks like there will be more room for others that are alternates.

The website says, "Completed applications will be reviewed by the Nursing Department and eligible applicants will be notified on or before November 15, 2021 regarding the status of your application. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed."

***However I spoke with the nursing department today & they mentioned that applicants will get a rejection or acceptance letter this Wednesday.***

Hello, I believe El Co already sent their acceptance letters last November 9.

Yeah I got my acceptance of "alternate" on November 12th. But I declined the offer. So that should be going to someone else.

Hi everyone! 
I was accepted to El Camino fall 2022 nursing. I know this isn’t the right cohort but I was hoping you guys can help me please 
Our mandatory orientation meeting is in 2 days and I still haven’t received any email with info about where it is. 
Did you guys get your email about the orientation very late?

I already accepted my contingent acceptance and I have emailed and called the dept pretty much all day today
