Hi all,

I have applied for fall 2017 program at El Camino College. I actually applied for Spring 2017, I was selected as an alternate and did not make it. Hopefully, I can get in this time. Anyone else have applied? It would be great if we could share some information and feelings while we are waiting for the result!

I just received rejection letter yesterday. Congrats to those who got accepted, and good luck to those who keep applying for next application period!

Yes, I received my rejection letter on Thursday. Good luck to everyone as well. I'm thinking of going out of state.

I want to let all of you interested in EL Camino college in Torrance California be aware. My daughter is in the program and the program and instructors are very disappointing. Most of the instructors are rude, impatient and teach through fear. They don't regard you as a student and are on a schedule to get the through the class. They are not teaching you.Instead they expect you to very skilled at all tasks. Students get written up for issues that are part of learning. Out of 20 student in 3rd semester, 8 were told they should not continue and advised to withdraw. Lots of money spent and seems wasted. Please do research before applying to EL Camino and get the facts. Good Luck,, from an RN for over 30 years that had wonderful, patient and compassionate instructors at Harbor College
