I've been reading for a while and some posters seem to have the idea that we are there to "clean up the mess". I've even had student RN's from the local university tell me that bathing, bedside care, and bedmaking is the LPN's job.
So, do you think that RN students, MDs, Rad Tech. courses need to have a seminar/lecture on the role of their fellow health care professionals in actual practice?
Many of us are very good at wound care, psych issues, post partum care, etc. Isn't it time the new grads in other fields were educated about what we actually do?
Just wondered if its me that feels this way or do others share this thought?
