Edinboro Innovative Fall 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone! I am making this post hoping to connect to future classmates of the Edinboro innovative nursing program for fall 2020. I was recently accepted to the program, however, I am weighing my options with the other schools that I applied to.

Anyone attending the program for fall 2020? Let's connect. I'm out of state so any information on how to get cheap housing close to campus will be very much appreciated. Who knows, we can also room together!

Hey, I happened to stumble upon this thread today. I am also accepted this fall 2020 in the Innovative nursing cohort at Edinboro. I applied last fall, but had to finish a few prerequisite classes. I was informed that the cohort had filled prior to finishing the prereqs, but, a few weeks ago, I got a call that a spot had opened up. It's quite exciting, although I feel somewhat melancholy that someone lost their spot.

I'm looking forward to starting this fall.

Hi! I have been looking around online and this is the only forum I can find regarding Edinboro's Innovative Program. Can anyone tell me more about their application before getting accepted into the program? I noticed the application does not require personal statements, LOR, or transcripts. Did you submit these anyway? Was anyone accepted without submitting these documents? Thank you!

Hello, I do not recall submitting a personal statement or a LOR. I sort of applied to the program on a whim and later than is recommended. I was wait listed but I eventually got accepted as students dropped out due to covid. So I don't think the documents are required but I'm sure a LOR would increase your chances. The head of the accelerated nursing program usually does an interview with potential students.

I did need my transcripts from my previous universities, as it is a second degree program (a Bachelors and some specific prerequisites are required.)

I hope that answers your questions. If ya have any more feel free to ask.
