Is anyone applying to ECU? If you've already applied have you heard back for an interview?

Sweet! Thanks. The only thing I have left to do is take my GRE may 12th. I read where it takes 10-15 days to get the results back. I know the deadline for ecu is May 31st. I've been in ICU for almost 1 year and a half but everyone keeps telling me it's too small of an hospital and I won't get in without more experience. Its worth a shot though!

Definitely don't count yourself out! Hopefully we both will get in!!!!

I know I hope so! I'm trying to get some more shadowing hours in the OR before I submit my final application. Is this everyone's first time applying?

Yeah! Are you From NC??

Yeah I'm from NC. How about you? I've looked at the other crna schools in NC. There's a handful of them. They all seem competitive!

Yeah I am! Im planning on plying to them all with ECU being my top choice! What are your stats??? I have 1.5 years in a level one PICU and 1 year and counting in a level 1 Cardiovascular Recovery unit. My undergraduate GPA is a 3.54, BSN 3.96, Science 3.5 and a 299 on my GRE. I have shadowed CRNA's and have my CCRN and am active on my unit (precepting, charge, UBC chair). Those are mine!

has anyone else gotten an interview invitation? I still haven't heard anything

'

Not yet! Is this your first time applying to schools?

Yes/ This is my first time applying. I have an interview at Wake Forest next month. I'm nervous for that one. Really hoping to hear from ECU too. I'm going to go check out the campus while I'm in NC.

I have an interview at Wake Forest too! Have you heard anything about how the interview goes?

If you got a WFU invitation, you are more than likely to get one from ECU. WFU is a very prestigious program.

Does Wake normally interview this far in advance??
