ECPI students...

let me know what you think...ESP charlotte NC area..thanks!!!

I went for a while stopped due to pregnancy complications, but what I had was pretty good you can give up on any personal life though 8 to 5 everyday and you really have to study cause it goes by so quick mondays are the worst cause you get the notes and you have a day of studying and wednesday is the test, To me you don't get time to digest it all. I'm in a cc and taking anatomy again and I'm like I remember that a little bit from ecpi, btw ecpi credits did not transfer. My main reason for not going back was the cost of 39,000 the 75 dollar a month fee every student has to pay and the hour drive that I was trying to do every week. If you want to know anything else let me know.

anything and everything,,,lol

pm me if you would rather

I can't pm yet but here goes application cost 100 dollars, teas test you only do math and reading and you have to pass one before you can go to the next and the study book is 40.00. Once that is taken care of you get to interview with the DON they start new classes every 2-3 months for night and day. Financial aid is accepted but all of it goes to ecpi and all the loan money goes to them as well and because they are private you are required to pay 75 dollars monthly toward tuition. Total cost is around 39,000 but if approved for grants then it drops to 36,000. The program is 14 months and it's 2 classes every 4-6 weeks (I think) and everything they want you to know is in the power points and notes. You also have to pass with a c or better or they will drop you. It goes pretty quick and our class lost a lot of people from low grades in anatomy class. Overall the teachers were good and if you need help they will stay and tutor you if needed but get it before it's gets to late in the class. Our nursing math seemed like all testing 14 chapters in 5 weeks is crazy but she was a good teacher. If I left anything out let me know.

Thanks for all the information!! I start at ECPI Oct. 4th, for the LPN program. I cant beleive we only get one day to study for an exam!!?? OMG, im really nervous now, Im already studying now, so I hope im ok. Which ECPI did you attend? At the Charlotte campus its 30,000 total, after grants, it's about 18,000 in loans. And we have to pay 200.00 monthly, this goes towards your tuition. If you cant afford it you can get a loan for the 2,800 (200/month x 14 months). They also say now, we have to pass with a B or better. So, they gave you notes? Were you allowed to have a voice recorder? I have heard so many things about this school, good, and bad. I just cnt wait to start. Did any of your credits transfer?? A nurse I work with said she was able to get credit from Gaston CC, to do the LPN/RN bridge program. Thanks for all the info!!! Glittery, I tried to IM you on yahoo, to let you know how it went. TTYL
