Never heard of it, and $250 is a good chunk of change to casually toss around in my book. Have you already been hired into an ICU? If so, check to see if the unit enrolls new ICU nurses in AACN's Essentials of Critical Care Orientation (ECCO)-not only should it be free of cost to you, but most if not all employers compensate you for doing it. Otherwise there are plenty of great books and such out there for a fraction of the cost.

Has anyone taken the On-line Critical Care Nursing Program from Echelon to get ready to transition to ICU? Was it helpful? Worth the money? Thank you!
