EC student looking for work in Cincinnati

Hello all,

Looking for ideas...

I am a CPNE eligible EC (RN) student waiting on my test dates..can anyone recommend how I can get a job in a hospital in the cincy/dayton area that would help me get a feel of the real thing before CPNE?

I have been told that it is helpful to be a STNA but cant afford to spend so much on another training when I am already paying out of pocket for the EC program...I am a certified phlebotomist however and did a 120 hr internship at Bethesda North, and did pretty well there. Didn't go back to work because I just wanted to hunker down and get the ADN out of the way...any ideas on where I could be looking or where they would be willing to take me on..??

Any pointers would be very happily received!!!
