Eastern Michigan University Traditional (BSN) Nursing Program Fall 2013

Hello all!

I just turned in my application today and was wondering if anyone has heard what the exact cut off point was for the point system for last years applicants. I've heard rumors of 153 and 155. If anyone has heard anything I would appreciate the response!

Hello everyone best of luck with your application.

I applied last year with all pre reqs at eastern with 2 As and a B in science classes. I had 15/20 on teas and no health care experience. I ended up having 150 points I know this because I went and talked to an advisor. She said I was just short of getting in. I reapplied this year with adding points for taking nursing 110. Hope this helps!

Good luck to you too :) I am pretty sure the letters come out mid-June. Is that what you were told too?

It was the end of the second week in June. I think students that got accepted received it a few days earlier.

I think you are right. The people who are accepted will get their letters first I'm sure. I already have a back-up plan if I do not get in. I feel my chances are iffy.

I also applied to the Nursing program at Eastern and have yet to receive a letter one way or another. It was my understanding that those who were accepted received letters first, usually by the end of the second week of June, and then the rejection and waitlist letters come out within a week following. Best wishes to you all. I hope someone posts they have received a letter soon :)

I called the nursing department and they said next week they should be sent!

I applied for EMU's program this year too. I am getting very anxious and rush home to check my mail everyday. I'm glad to see there are other people on here waiting to hear something. Good luck!

The third week of June they are mailed out I hear. I wonder what the cut off will be this year. Last year was an all time high of 154, they are thinking it will drop. Hope so.
