Hi all Im thinking about attending Eastern International College in Belleville N.J I have so many questions about this school and im looking for anyone that has graduated from their nursing program. So far I have found many negative comments about their Ultrasound program but nothing about the RN program.

Hey @jerseynurse25 I was wondering if you attended Eastern International College in Belleville. If so, how was the program? Did you feel well prepared for the NCLEX? How soon did you find a job and where if you don't mind me asking? Also where are the clinicals? Sorry for all the questions, I am thinking about applying myself.
Thank you,
Unique

Hey Unique,
did you ever get any insight about the school. trying to find someone that has attended to let me know how it is. I'm schedualed to take my HESI but i saw a lot of people on here saying how it wasnt accredited but i checked and it was.
thank you, jasmine
Hey I actually finish this December. They are accredited since March/April of this year.
Omg thanks so much for answering! Wow congrats on finishing up! How did you like it? I tried finding someone to talk to about it but I literally couldnt find anyone so I was beginning to think that it was a scam. Are you planning on transferring to a 4 year? so sorry for all the questions, I schedualed my hesi for 2 weeks but wanted to make sure I made the right decision by doing so in taking it.
Thank you. It’s ok but it has been a mess since I was there but now this semester they got a new chairperson, new dean, new instructors and actually new curriculum they removed soooo many classes which I wish they would’ve done from the get (about 4 classes or so) which could have save money especially when paying out of pocket. And no once you finish you can go to a school that has RN to BSN. It’s okay for all the questions I wish I had someone to answer mine. Now my best friend attends there on her 3rd semester.
Thanks so much for answering all these questions i greatly appreciate it. Overall would you recommend it? I’m trying to get in the nursing field as soon as possible and this school kind of just fell in my lap so just want to make sure that it’s a good decision. So happy that you’re best friend is there and on her 3rd semester. Any tips? Kind of hoping this school is my way in especially now it’s approved and accredited and has all of this new administration.
Sorry forget to add, were you at the jersey city or Belleville campus
I’m at the Belleville campus which is where Is the new faculty. There’s some cons to it but then it probably was because of the faculty before or curriculum so would probably change. Tip- study a lot and prepare to say bye to your social life until you’re out.
thanks so much for all your help i greatly appreciate it, promise these are the last few questions, have you heard anything good about the jersey city campus and how their nursing campus is? And how were the clinical s? Did they place you in a good place?
Idk that much of jc campus but we all say they treat that campus better it’s more like real college if that makes any sense I think some of their clinicals are all the hospitals over there..Belleville depending on which class the hospitals vary from Newark Montclair Paramus etc.

Hey Uniquezapata, congrats on graduating soon! I’m planning on attending the Belleville campus as well and was wondering if you know anyone from the program who has gone on to get their BSN because I heard the classes aren't transferable. And also do what about jobs after graduation. Do you know if employers hire EIC students because I read on yelp that they don’t. Thank you so much in advance. I just want to make the right decision since this is my second degree and I’ll be paying out of pocket
