Hi ladies

i applied to the February 2015 program got in but unfortunately could not come up with the $1875 deposit, sooo I am considering the sept 2015 ft program coming up. I already did my clearances and since I already had my interview (last nov 2014) for the February 2015 class I am just going to be waiting on my acceptance/denial letter which she said would be going out by the 2nd week of June.....uhhh fingers crossed. But she stated I have a good chance of getting in, btw I had a teas waiver bc I have college credits, now my credits equaled a 59 on the teas test (which to me is low) but the lady stated she has seen ppl with low 40s get in, so don't get discouraged over low teas scores. I really hope I get in. I love nursing and feel this is a great start for me. Idk what other ppl say about lpn , I am doing what's best for me. I know lpns who have 4+ years exp and are nursing directors! remember it's all about experience.....who else is applying to the sept 2015 class??

When I met with the lady (Therese) she stated ppl with 40s have gotten in, my teas waiver equaled a 59, I got in the February 2015 class but couldn't come up with the $1875 deposit,,,,so I am trying again for sept 2015 ft class....don't get discouraged about your score.

I hope for an interview soon! What did your teas score come out to with your college gpa? I hope my 54% is not too low for acceptance

Thank you! So we have to send in the $1875 before we even get an interview? I thought that is when you are actually accepted?

You put the $1875 down after your acceptance (usually due 8 weeks prior to start of class)

That's great! I've sent in everything that they asked for and they said mid June will be interviews for the part time Oct classes. What is the interview like? Is it group or just Theresa asking questions..how long is it?

The interview is just you, the ask you general questions like why you want to do the lpn program, what are your hobbies, blah blah blah, and they give you a math test to take she leaves the room for like 15 mins and gives you a general calculator and the math test is like ratios and fractions and other math, than she buts you on the comp and tells you to wrie a Paragraph , my topic was what's your favorite movie and why. Terese was very nice and made me feel comfortable....I had my interview oct 24 2014 and got my acceptance letter nov 10 2014. The interview overall was about 35/45 mins tops.

Hi. @K_marie8701. dont b disappointed. I was same. I tried many nursing school for RN. coz of my low teas i couldnt get adm. my score was 55% and I was sooo tired of retaking them again n again .. to match "their" scores. so i looked at every possibility ... I was btw got accepted at Eastern and Lincon tech (phila) eastern teas wavier score was 64%. But I looked for RN schools which was my 1st priority. and found out that Harcum college doesnt require teas at all. so now I got accepted in to their fall nursing program. their deposit was $200. Non - refundable. If you are interested, you can try there...

for me, harcum was the only hope so far. so i took it. rather than waiting.... its just an opinion. I dont know if you are looking only into LPN prog.

@ Danad320. I got acceptted at Harcum. day prog. starting on fall. did u get accept at eastern??
