Happy Easter! Christos Anesti!
Yesterday we enjoyed playing with The Big Group at The Big Church's Sabbath School (one of many there), and seeing lots of friends. Unfortunately, we left just as the lesson study got underway, had to get home to care for the animals. We watched a Patterns of Evidence video, and then jammed at 4pm with dh's Jamkazam jam (after I took an hour's nap).
In the evening I spent some time getting my garb ready for today (I added a little fabric below the hem of the bodice). After pets are fed and cared for, we will be off to the Renaissance Faire! Hope to enjoy a day of walking, seeing the sights, and people-watching.
Have a good day!
Happy Easter! ????⛪✝️
Another sunny, warm afternoon. We didn't get any rain yesterday. Though the skies are currently all blue, I think we may s'posta be getting showers later this evening.
We won the ballgame yesterday afternoon. The game today starts at 7:05 PM and I think they traveled back to Atlanta to play this 4th of 4 games with San Diego. Never have understood why they travel to play several games and then the other team travels back to play the last game at the other team's home ballpark. One of the mysteries of life, I guess.
Nannie has 'et' her lunch and visited the potty. I have to go in to empty her waste-basket ? ...it's an every other day task. Such joy being a janitor, but it could be much worse; I hope she stays self-care until 'the end', whenever that might be. But now she has started her after-lunch afternoon nap.
The neighbor from across the street (who still has to cut up the last of the tree-trunk) is making a brisket and we are invited to come fill our plates at about 5 PM. Won't say no to that! ? The last time we had an invitation like that, they had 2 counters and 2 tables spread out with all kinds of food!
I guess I'll go sit outside and enjoy the weather. Hope y'all are having a good day!

Happy Easter
Hi Stars
Tweety hope your next shift features less drama
Yesterday proved to be a fairly busy day
In the morning I waited nearly 45 minutes in line at a popular bakery to get coffee cake and cookies for coffee hour after the Easter Service. Got some bird watching and baking in, had lunch with dad, went for a walk, then went to our lightly attended Easter vigil service as the choir was singing
Found out there had been a Covid case among the church staff, so coffee hour today has been canceled. Guess I'll freeze them for some future coffee hour
Today have Easter Sunday service, should be better attended. Thankfully we'll be doing the same anthem as last night. Dad is planning to attend
Afterwards dad and J and I will go to our favorite restaurant, which has brought back it's popular Easter brunch for the first time since the pandemic. Will also do some cooking too
Will be in the 40s today, and the next few days too
