east tennessee nursing schools

U.S.A. Tennessee

Does anyone have any experience or heard anyone compare some of the east tennessee nursing schools? I'm just getting started with my prereqs but the differences between the prereqs at UTK nursing school are vastly different than the prereqs at Tennessee Tech in Cookeville or Tennessee Wesleyan (those two are very similar).

my brother is currently doing prereqs for ETSU, that's up in Johnson City; I can find out some info on that if you want or you could check the different schools' websites. I am a new nurse and work with new nurses from Tenn. Tech and from UTK, they all seem well prepared. So I think you'd be good going with either one of those- I don't know much about Tenn. Wesleyan. Good luck!!! :)

hey i know this doesn't help you much but i'm moving there this summer and im start my classes in the fall so maybe when you start you can help me

depending on exactly where you are...ETSU has a BSN program, Walter State has the ADN prgram...and there is King College, Milligan College and others...i personally prefer Walter State, because that is where i attend. It has a campus located in Morristown, there is also a capus in Gray TN where you can participate thru ITV. They have an excellent program in my opinion. but, again it depends on what you are looking for....

I was looking on the search engine for different tenn. schools for a nursing (good) nursing program for lpn, and i was lead here for some reason but i figured i would give it a shot to see if possibly anyone here knew of a good school i could attend to receive my lpn license...thank you for your time i greatly appreciate any assistance that can be given and have a wonderful day....:nurse:
