I AM COMPLETELY NERVOUS! I worked so hard to get to this point I am soooo anxious! I hope I get in, I hope I get in. See, my community college has a year waiting list to get into clinicals. It's mind boggling really. I've herd around that the highest gpa for this round was an A-, and only one individual has it. I have a B! Which I hope is enough to get me in....

Good luck! I am actually in NUR105 this semester there. It's intense, but awesome.
Well my luck ran short. . . I didn't make it! I'm so upset. I got an 85... I guess that's not enough. I honestly don't know what to do now. 3 years of my life down the tubes. Maybe I could retake a course? Will they let you retake a C course?
They will let you retake C courses, but the class would not be covered by financial aid. How did you do on your science pre-requisites? If you got a C in either of the A&Ps or in Micro, re-taking those would definitely be helpful, because they are worth more credits than an English or psychology, for example. Getting an A in one of those would definitely bring your GPA up.
I got a C+ in AP I, and a C in developmental Psy. I'll just save up money and take them this fall. The payment is not due till August right? So, I have a little time. Also, I do want to be a nurse! I saw people I knew or loved who had good and terrible experiences in the hospital or nursing home
And what really helped them feel better was not only they knew what they were doing but, how the nurses acted.
Anyways, thanks for the input and
god bless. I wish you luck because it is intense, but just focus, and stay determined even when times are bad.
