Duke University PNP-PC - Fall 2026

Published

Just wanted to make a thread and connect with other people applying to Duke for Fall 2026! 🙂 I am applying to PNP-PC!

Hi there!

I just submitted my application for Duke's FNP program - Fall 2026! Will definitely keep up with the thread to update my progress and follow everyone else's :)

Specializes in Mother-Baby & Nursery.

Late on this, but I too applied for the priority peds primary deadline.  Unsure of where I truly stand amongst other applicants, but hoping for the best.   Good luck everyone.

Specializes in HIV and primary care.

I also applied for the Duke FNP program for fall 2026! I've applied to two other schools as well. I've only got about a year and a half as an RN working in primary care after a career change, but I've got a 3.9 GPA in my BSN, 4.0 in all my prereqs, a bunch of volunteer experience, and have only worked at FQHCs since I've been in healthcare (was an MA for a year before nursing school as well). Good luck to everyone applying!

Hi! I also applied for priority for PNP-PC. I don't think I'll get in, I have a low BSN GPA (3.1) but I do have my MPH (3.75). I have 3 years of RN experience (PICU and outpatient clinic), as well as lots of volunteer experience. Good luck everyone!
Does anyone know when the first round of interviews will go out?

I'm sort of the opposite.  3.478 BSN GPA with Sigma Theta Tau and Tau Sigma honors, but in my ASN and first bachelor's degree I had a 2.85 and 2.576 respectively.  I do however bring 2.5 years of mother-baby experience with an RNC-MNN certification and volunteer work with St. Jude, so I hope that my growth throughout the years will show and convince the committee to offer me a spot.

As for interviews, I saw on past threads that they went out late January to mid February, so we have some noteworthy time before then.

Does anyone's app say under review?

Where would I see that?  I just logged in to my applicant tab, but it still only shows that all my materials were received.

It says this on mine "Your application is complete and is currently under faculty review.” It's immediately under the blue text that says "Thank you for applying"

My application still only says "Thank you for applying..." with nothing underneath, though I got all my application materials in and submitted before the priority deadline. I'm hoping it just means that they mark them as "under review" when they actually start reviewing your application, so they likely have just not gotten to mine yet. Hopefully that's the case! I know I got everything in on time so I can't think of another reason for it.

Just checked mine again and I have the same status as you currently.  It is still very early in the review process, so we can at least enjoy our holiday break before then.

My status finally says "your application is complete and is currently under faculty review.” Phew! That's a relief. So they must be updating the statuses as they start reviewing.
