Duke University ABSN Spring 2025

Hi! I haven't seen a forum made for Spring 2025 yet so I figured I'd start one so we can share any updates we have and ask questions :)

Hi everyone! Congrats on your acceptances! I have a question about applying past the priority deadline — what are the chances of getting in? Is it worth it to apply?

I haven't. I asked the Financial Aid Office on Monday when the packages would be released and they said scholarship/financial aid decisions have still not been made and we should hear within a "couple of weeks". My acceptance is so contingent on my aid package so I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to hear back about them LOL.

Same! Also I still need to apply to other programs if I don't get the aid I need to attend Duke. Literally SOO nerve wracking. 😬

Not sure if everyone else has but I received my financial aid summary on Friday. Also to everyone that will be attending I have lived in the area for about 5 years now (since I did undergrad at UNC) and happy to answer any questions regarding apartment searching or things to do!

Considering my financial situation I thought it was a good amount. I think for the entire program it will cost similar to that of other ABSNs I have been looking at.

hi! I am going to be moving to nc from out of state. does anyone have any recommendations for good apartments near campus?

Hi! Congrats on your acceptance! I just graduated from UNC this past May and last minute decided to apply to Duke's ABSN program. Would I be able to pm/dm you and ask you a few questions? I got a considerable amount of financial aid for my bachelors at UNC so I am curious if it would be similar for this program if my financial need hasn't changed much. Also, definitely interested in getting some input about the apartments! Thanks!!
