Duke University ABSN Fall 2013

Hey everyone! I submitted my application to Duke University's ABSN program for fall 2013 a few weeks ago, so I wanted to get some conversation started! Is anyone else applying?!

I retracted my interview at Duke...hope this opens a spot for somebody on the wait list!

Yes, maspsu08, you might have helped me out here. I just got removed from the waitlist and now I've got an interview. 1 week notice until the interview!! holy cow! Why did you retract your offer?

joe_mamma - I was accepted into the second degree program at penn state and also the bsn/msn at upenn. Also waiting to hear from jhu. At the end of the day, even if accepted into Duke, I probably would choose one of these 3 programs over Duke.

Penn State is my second home and the program is financially a great deal (~35k in-state tuition for bsn) and upenn and jhu have the added luxury of being placed into a master's program from the start. I have no desire in going through this application/interview process again, ha.

I withdrew from the program as well. I had an interview date for the 4th. Hopefully someone else can take my spot off the wait list.

Hey guys, I'm going on March first as well. My name is Joe (no kidding, right?), from Florida. I'm tall, come say hey! Also, how are you guys prepping for the interview? Does anyone have stats on the acceptance or rejection rate based off of this interview? What do you guys think the group interview process will be like?
