Duke University ABSN Fall 2013

Hey everyone! I submitted my application to Duke University's ABSN program for fall 2013 a few weeks ago, so I wanted to get some conversation started! Is anyone else applying?!

All these schools run on their own agenda and the timing makes it impossible when you apply to multiple schools!

I called admissions this morning around 11:30 and an admissions officer confirmed that they would definitely be sent out by the end of the day today

When I checked my admission status one day, new information was posted later in the evening. I think a team of students end up relaying the information after business hours, so don't give up hope. I wouldn't be surprised if the after-hours e-mailing is intentional to avoid phone calls from potentially upset people...similar to teachers passing out papers at the end of class and then running off to avoid dealing with students' reactions.

Wow, 50 people are online reading!!!! That's a lot! I'm so excited and nervous. I wanted to let you all know that I found out that they will DEFINITELY be letting us know today but it may be later. I called them to beg for answers haha. So let's just try (keyword: TRY) to be patient!
