Mrs. Walker,
Thank you for your reply. As noted in my thread I am not bound by my desired criteria, but in search of valid information or advice from people who would like to tell me of thier nursing school experience. This is in order that I make an educated desicion about which school/program to choose.
The duel CNM/FNP degree is not offered at many schools but contrary to your belief of the two being totally unrelated I consider the degree to be an extreamly well rounded one.
Again, your thoughts are appreciated. Hopefully there will be more responses for us both to learn from.

Why would you want to do both? They are two separate specialties. Do you want to work with pregnant women and deliveries or do you want to do family practice?
That would be like a doctor wanting to specialize in plastic surgery and obstetrics. It can be done, not sure is any school offers a dual degree in it but why would you want to do it?
Please forgive me if my tone comes off wrong, but I am a firm believer in not wasting time and money. Do more research into the two masters programs and decide from there which one best suits your professional goals. Once you go through your clinicals, your mind may completely change
