Drug Screen - Alprazolam??

I had a terrible day at work Saturday, came home frazzled and frustrated and took quarter of alprazolam to settle my nerves. Now I have been offered a job at a different facility and have to do a drug screen. Anyone know how long alpraz stays in the system for?? The book says it has a half life of 12-15 hrs but Im not sure what that means.

If you have a valid prescription for the med and it's in your name it doesn't matter. Take the bottle with you and tell them you take it occasionally.

If it's not your script that's another issue altogether.

Do you have an RX for the xanax? Just come clean about it if you do before the test - if it is a legit perscription then you should be ok.

half life is the time it takes for 1/2 the med to be eliminated
