Drug cards or drug guide for clinicals??

Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum & new to nursing school.

I am trying to decide what my money would be best spent on...

drug cards (if so, which ones are best?) OR

drug guide (if so, which is best?)

...for 1) learning the drugs and 2) for use in clinicals.

I'd appreciate any help!! Thanks so much!

I second what WDWpixie said. I almost bought the cards but decided to wait until classes started. Was I ever happy! We, too, had to make our own cards. And actually making them yourself is just one more way to learn what you'll need to know.

I make my cards on my computer. I have Davis Drug guide on my PDA & it also came with the same program for my PC. I do lots of cuttting & pasting of the information. Some of my classmates have Davis Drug Guide in book form & it comes with the info also on CD.

Our school provides a drug book for us all as part of our tuituon. It's the Nurses PDR & most of us absolutely hate it. A fewhave Mosbeys & are really happy with it.
