any recommendations on books anyone has found useful for Drug Calculation? I am not the best in math and I can use all the help I can get. I already have the Saunders NCLEX Comprehensive Review book but I think I need one that concentrates on math. Thanks

I am using the book "Dosage Calculations" by Gloria Pickar. I have been struggling with conversions since anatomy when I was taught a different way by a friend the confused me and I never was able to figure it out again!
This is the book we are required to get for my nursing program beginning this month. I purchased it in June and have been going through it from chapter one. It has made a huge difference! I am so happy I did this before the semester started.

I have the book Dosage Calculations Made Easy, I got it from Books-A-Million and has provided a world of help. I had a time trying to grasp the math, but this book helped a lot. It starts from the beginning and gradually takes you to conversions and word problems. I paid about $30 for it, but its priced at $36 without your discount card.

I was so lost before I got this book! It saved me (and a few friends) alot of anxiety. I went from dreading calculation questions on tests to hoping there would be more.
I HIGHLY recommend it. I found it on ebay for around $10 and it came with a practice CD.

The best advice i can give you is too many books only make it worse because each book teaches a different way. hang in there
