Drexel University PMHNP Fall 2018

Hello!

I just got my acceptance letter for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program at Drexel University and I was wondering if there is anyone else on here who is planning on starting this program in the fall? Just trying to find some future classmates!

Also if any current students have any advice that would be awesome!

I am not in the 2018 program but I am in my clinical year at Drexel for PMHNP. I advise starting a Facebook page for you and your classmates during the first year...also, if you don't live in PA, line up your airbnbs at least 4 months in advance, Drexel has many programs visiting campus' around the same times...

this is what we did. I know i set up mine right away. I also started a facebook group for us.

hey how is the program? is it very challenging ? are you able to work ?

its a difficult program but i feel like if i make it through I will pass the boards. the quality of the program is good but the issue with getting clinical sites approved on time is a nightmare. If you miss out on the 4 core classes they are only offered once a year.

I recently got accepted for the fall 2019 class. Any advice on getting through program in one shape. Tips would be appreciated. Is anyone starting a group for FALL 19?
