I was just wondering if anyone else's school used the NCLEX course provided by Drexel and if they found it beneficial when taking the NCLEX exam? :uhoh21:

Actually, that's the program that my employer offers us. We had the first day today and our instructor is pretty good-so far we have gotten some excellent tips. Record wise, I did some checking and this lady has been teaching this class for 15 years and last year was the first time she had a couple of people fail the first time. These twp people did pass the second time. I think those are pretty good odds. Plus, this is provided free of charge to us so you can't go wrong.

My school required that we take the Drexel HESI review course, wealso had to pass the HESI exit exam with a score over 900 before they would give us our papers to send to the state. The review was basically a review of nursing school. The instructor we had was great. They had practice NCLEX ques. at the end of each section. The only thing was 4 days 8 hrs long...got a little BORING:yawn: if you know what I mean. I haven't taken the NCLEX as yet, but they say it's a good refresher prior to taking it. I have taken the NCLEX-PN and I just went over the NCLEX books and whatever I felt as though I was a little weak in, I focused more on it. Hope that answers your question. Good luck:lol2:
OMG there must be one in EACH school, we had this one lady..and like you she would agrue and challenge everything that she didn't agree with. Don't get me wrong she was quite intelligent. but some of the dumbest stuff she just didn't understand the reason for it and you know her questions started towards the end of the day when everyone is really to get out. When she started to speak you would hear the whole class groan and moan.. LOL..well good luck with your last day of reviews.
