Drexel ACE vs. Jefferson FACT-1 2017

Published

These two programs are my top choices for the accelerated nursing program. Unfortunately, I am torn between both and cannot decide which one to go to. They both seem around the same price but I know Jefferson offers master credits and an automatic acceptance into their master program. Any advice?

Specializes in oncology, MS/tele/stepdown.

It's only three Master's courses at Jeff, and I would have rather spent more time focusing on my true nursing courses than doing online group projects for grad credits. Just my two cents. I did the two year 2nd degree program at Jeff and worked with Jeff students as a staff nurse. Jeff students now get a clinical day just to work on their care plan... meaning you lose a day of clinical experience to do homework. It's a bummer to see things like that.

Honestly? If I had to choose my RN program over again, I'd choose my local community college, DCCC.

Hey Swellz,

I would really appreciate knowing more about your experience with Fact-2 (work load, professors, classes, clinicals, etc). I have an interview with Jefferson next week and it's one of my top choice programs.
