Drexel ACE Acceptance

Published

Does anyone remember how long it took to get an acceptance letter from the Drexel ACE program after your application was complete?

I applied last year for the fall of 2008 and my application was complete about a month ago and was wondering how this process works?

Should I be bugging them?

Thanks!

hey ...

so I called today and they said I should be receiving a letter later on this week with their decision....

I have completed all my pre-req's except for nutrition, growth&dev, and ethics.

Athens!! What a great way to relax before starting the ACE program.

I will update you on the response. ;)

take care

Congrats to those accepted. To those who haven't heard yet, Drexel (particularly ACE) is known for telling things last minute... so get used to it! LOL.

I am about to start my second quarter of ACE. So far, I think it is a pretty good program. I was lucky enough to get some really great professors last quarter. Like any program there are great professors, good professors, and not-so-good professors. I think as long as you go into it is with a "Go Get 'Em" attitude, and you get a good handful of friends to study with, talk to, and relax with in the program, you will be great!

Keep me in mind when you start. I will gladly sell books that are being used again.

Best of Luck to everyone!

i everyone..

I just received my letter today and I was not accepted.:o:o

I guess because my GPA was a 2.85 in my undergrad...

im upset... but I will apply to other schools.

I might try again for the spring semester. Or just take some time off. I don't know, I am really bummed.

take care

fouzia I am sorry to hear the bad news. I haven't heard back from them yet, I am getting nervous. I don't understand why you didn't get accepted, don't you just have to have above a 2.75 GPA or 3.0 in last 60 hrs plus a C or above in prereqs? What was your gpa in the last 60 hours? I am just trying to figure out what drexel is looking for!

Fouzia,

So sad to hear your news! Definitely try again for spring - the admissions people told me many people re-applied for spring and were accepted. Be sure to keep us all posted! If nursing is your passion, you'll make it.

I am hoping for fall 2010 admissions. Does anyone know if it helps or hurts your application to send in letters of rec??
