Dreaming of the OR?

OK-- working in the OR is really getting to me. We just got back from a great vacation in Mexico and I had an OR dream while I was there!

In the dream I was working on some big case. I don't know what it was, but I do know that there were a lot of tiny-needled 7-0 and 8-0 sutures involved. As the case drew to a close, my colleagues came into the room to "help" me wind up the case. They started pulling down the drapes, cleaning the room etc while the patient was still on the table and the surgeons were still working. I kept yelling "Wait, I haven't counted yet!!" but they wouldn't listen. I woke up in self defense...:D

Anyone else have the OR crossover into your sleep time?

That is funny! I have a friend who, during the clinical portion of his Surgical Tech program, woke up to find post-it notes on his wall about the procedures he was going to be precepted in that day...he had written them in his sleep. LOL

HAHAH YES I have OR dreams!!! I had a weird dream that one of the surgeons I work with all of the time let us use his house on the lake and it caught fire and he came in and saved us all and then yelled at me for it! I have never really had any procedural dreams.
