Have you tried this? I think it is $50? This machine analyzes your feet, I think. I wonder if its helpful. My feet are wide. I have some difficulty finding shoes that actually fit too.

I tried it the other day. The inserts are $50, but the analysis is free. I didn't really buy what it said about my feet. I know I have really high arches, and it said I had average ones. It also said I had high pressure on my feet, and I'm not sure about that. It didn't look like the inserts they were selling were all that different from each other.

Bought my mother a pair of the inserts after her analysis on the machine. She doesn't use them. At first she said it made her feet feel worse, and I suggested she buy a pair of shoes a half size larger to ensure the insoles weren't taking up too much room. We got her a pair of shoes a half size larger, put the insoles in, and they still hurt her. Waste of $50 if you ask me.

A friend did it, hated them, and returned for his money back.

my friend and i both bought the dr. scholl's inserts, i love mine and she hates hers. i think the kind of shoes you wear also make a difference. i wear mine in a pair of new balance's and she wears a pair of cheap shoes that she bought at walmart for about $10.

Interesting - I've seen ads on TV for the machine didn't know they had it at Walmart.
I recently was having PT on my shoulder, and asked him about some leg pain I was having. He did a really thorough evaluation of my feet and walking style. And advised me against Dr. Scholl inserts :) Might have to see if they have the machine at one of my local Walmarts and see how their evaluation compares to the one from the PT.
