I am applying to the Douglas psych nursing program of jan 2015, with 13 points. Does 13 points even give me a chance of getting in??

im in the program - 13 points sound pretty good. if you don't get in on the first shot, there is a waitlist that moves very quickly for that intake. I had 11 points, was #20 on the waitlist and got accepted a month or so later.
Do you know roughly how many ppl apply each intake? @concretegold91
Hi everyone!
I am applying to the sept 2015 psych nursing program with 13 points, and was wondering if that is going to give me a chance to get into the program? I am pretty nervous about the entire points system because the competition looks tough!

Yes i think you have a great chance. I was accepted with 12 points but reapplied the following semester for second year direct entry with 14 points
How is the program so far concretegold? What semester will you be starting in January?
quick question helisha, does applying early before the deadline of applications give you a better chance?
Hmm I dont know for sure. But I know you can get accepted early. Each time I applied I was accepted quite early. I think it may have been because I had a high score though.
For sept the cut off is feb 1st, what I was wondering, do ppl get accepted before feb 1st?
No. I dont think they can guarantee acceptance until they see the applicant scores. So maybe March or April
Hey has anyone been receiving any emails or anything? I have a friend in nursing and she keeps telling me about these emails she's receiving but I haven't gotten any :/
Late response, but the program is great so far. I'm in Semester 4 of the Bachelors program. Are you doing 2nd year direct entry or are you starting in January with the Biology, English, etc?
