Donation after cardiac death

this is a new procedure in our operating room and am looking for information from anyone who has started doing donation after cardiac death.

hi barbara: i just logged on to this site and saw your inquiry regarding dcd and o.r. procedures. we are in the process of formulating our o.r. procedures and coordinating with the family/patient caregivers. i would love to hear from you to hear what you have done and i would be happy to share what we have put together so far. we just formed a dcd committee a few months ago and have just finalized our "pref sheet" for the o.r. staff. our next efforts will be toward education for staff and other caregivers.
