Does anyone work for Maxim Staffing Solutions?

I have applied as an RN to a prison in Toledo, Ohio. They used to use Correctional Medical Services then recently switched to Maxim. I wonder why they changed and how they are to work for.

I have been working for both Maxim and Supplemental since late 2008. My recruiters at both places do a good job. I have had a more difficult time with trying to get reimbursement for expenses such as hotels for out of town assignments with Maxim, but if that is not an issue for you, then it wouldn't matter. The paychecks come when they say they will come. I had one problem with them stating that I would not get paid for my lunch break that I did not get, and therefore did not subtract from my time. However, I believe that had more to do with the individual that was handling the payroll at the time, and he wasn't there long because he apparently kept pi**ing people off due to his attitude. To clarify what I meant about getting reimbursement for hotels...I mean that they could not give me authorization for the expense of a hotel in advance (for an assignment that was over 70 miles away), and Supplemental is a little easier to work with re: the out of town assignments. But, I like Maxim and all the staff have been very pleasant and very helpful when I have needed them.

Thanks Katkonk. I may have a chance to work for Supplemental at Lebanon Prison in Ohio. Its good to hear that they are both okay to work for. Now I just need to get a job.

I do find Maxim to be slower paying and less generous with milage .

I haven't ever had any problems with Maxim...they have always paid me pretty fast. However, they are

a bit hesitant to cover mileage sometimes (I was dealing with the correctional facilities, though). May be

different for hospital work...I don't know.
