Does ADN vs AAS truly matter?

I've been researching the difference for a while now, yet I've been getting wildly different answers. Some say its a kind of terminal degree and others say its basically the same thing; only difference being having to  take a few additional classes because of credits not transferring. The best/ closest schools in my area are ADN: AAS and I've got all the preqs down. But im afraid it'll affect my career in the long run doing an AAS vs ADN. So does it actually matter? Like will it prevent me from getting my BSN or transferring my license to another state? Or even going to grad school? The schools are ACEN accredited if that makes a difference

There are some differences in the three associate degree options available, and the article below discusses them.  However, from a practical standpoint the degree option you choose really won't make a difference: you're still going to be able to endorse your license and be able to further your education, at either the baccalaureate or gradual level.

ADN vs. ASN vs. AAS Nursing Degrees: What're the Differences?

Best wishes.
