Do schools consider TEAS score when doing RN-BSN program?

Published

Just wondering if they take it into consideration when accepting students..or is it more about having your license and nursing school grades? I'm going to take my TEAS 6 in a couple of days to enter an ADN program. Eventually after I get my license I do want to go for my BSN. I do feel a bit unprepared for my TEAS test, but the ADN program only requires a 62% for entry. I think I'll be able to get at least a 62%. I am worried though that what if I get a lower score than I could have and it prevents me from getting a RN-BSN program in the future.

Once you are an (Associate degree) RN and decide to go onto obtain your BSN, pretty positive they no longer care about those TEAS scores...You have to send in school transcripts and they are more concerned about the classes you took. Good luck
