Hello ~ I'm considering West Chester University's advance to BSN accelerated nursing program. Can anyone give me a review of the program? Do you recommend it? Why or why not? Also, where are their clinical affiliations. I don't see them listed anywhere. I heard that they do not offer clinicals in Philadelphia hospitals. Is that true? Any insight you could provide would be a great help! Thanks!! (...I'm comparing this to Drexel's ACE program ~ So any comparison would be helpful too!!)

Any information regarding West Chester's program from a graduate of the program would be extremely helpful! I am in the process of choosing between West Chester and Drexel's program!

Hello! I am an advance 2 bsn student. As far as I know, the clinical affiliations seem to be with main line health hospitals (paoli, bryn mawr and bryn mawr rehab), Chester county hospital, and possibly nemours DuPont or st Francis hospital, depending on what semester or clinical instructor you have peds/maternity. West Chester seems to have more clout with suburban hospitals; I imagine there is stiff competition in Philadelphia hospitals for nursing schools!

I agree with BSNhopeful88. WCU uses many different agencies within a 20 mile radius of West Chester. WCU is less than half of Drexel with similar NCLEX outcomes.
