Do you have to present your care plans?

Published

Does anyone here have to get up and present your care plans to the class? Do you have to give a sort of post-conference about your previous clinical day while in front of the whole class? I mean actually standing up using powerpoints and such.

Any tips to not become so nervous? I get extremely nervous when presenting. It is something I know I need to get over-- but I don't think I ever will!! I want to look competent AND ABSOLUTELY not look like a nervous pushover. Has anyone overcome their fear of presenting?

I submit care plans on a weekly basis for the nursing program that I currently attend. Not once have I ever had to present anything to the class.

I have suffered from 'stage fright' since I was a child, and still remain uncomfortable when faced with the task of presenting something in front of a crowd of people. My voice quivers and anxiety overcomes me when I am doing any type of public speaking.

not usually. occasionally during post-conference, with just your clinical group, you may have to share something. god, nothing works better at putting me sleep than to hear students talk about their careplans. you'll feel the same way too after doing it a couple of times.
